Terms of use

The terms for using Hallbase: the console, the assistant and this website.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

About these terms

Hallbase is made and run by Xlinfe Technologies. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Hallbase is in private beta: congregations join by invitation.

Using Hallbase

A congregation's elders decide who is added and what each person can see and do. You use the assistant from the number your congregation linked to you, or in the console.

  • Use Hallbase lawfully and only for your congregation's work.
  • Keep your phone and sign-in codes safe, and tell your elders if you lose your phone.
  • Don't try to see information you're not allowed to see, break the service, or send spam or harmful content.

The congregation's information

The congregation's records belong to the congregation. We use them only to run Hallbase for it, as the Privacy page explains.

A congregation should add only people it needs for its work, keep its records accurate, and have their agreement where the law requires it.

The assistant

The assistant answers from the congregation's records, within the rules its elders set. Its answers can be wrong, so check important details with your elders. It doesn't give Bible or spiritual guidance.

Messages

Messages are sent through WhatsApp or Telegram, whose own terms also apply. Reply BAJA or STOP to stop them; sign-in codes still arrive when you ask for them.

Price

Hallbase is free during the private beta. Before anything is charged, the congregation is told the price and decides.

Changes and availability

We may change Hallbase and its features, and it may sometimes be unavailable. We tell congregations about important changes.

A congregation can stop using Hallbase at any time and ask us to delete its records. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

Responsibility

Hallbase is provided as it is, as far as the law allows. We are not responsible for decisions made with its information, or for losses beyond what the law requires. Nothing in these terms removes rights the law gives you.

Independent software

Hallbase is not affiliated with JW.org or any religious organization. Names of publications and meetings belong to their owners.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms; the new date is shown at the top. For questions, write to inbox@hallbase.org.
